About the Journal
The Journal of Radiology and Cancer is an international scholarly journal dedicated to advancing research and clinical knowledge in radiology, oncology, cancer imaging, radiation-based therapies, and related biomedical sciences. The journal provides a multidisciplinary platform for radiologists, oncologists, radiation oncologists, nuclear medicine specialists, medical physicists, biomedical researchers, and other healthcare professionals to disseminate innovative scientific and clinical research.
Radiology has a central role in modern cancer care, supporting screening, early detection, diagnosis, staging, treatment planning, image-guided intervention, treatment-response assessment, and long-term surveillance. At the same time, advances in radiation oncology, molecular imaging, artificial intelligence, radiomics, medical physics, and precision medicine are creating new opportunities for more accurate diagnosis and individualized cancer treatment. Established journals in this field similarly integrate diagnostic and interventional radiology with oncologic imaging, nuclear medicine, radiotherapy, radiobiology, and medical physics.
The journal aims to promote rigorous, clinically relevant, and translational research that contributes to improved cancer diagnosis, treatment, patient safety, and outcomes. It welcomes multidisciplinary research connecting imaging sciences and oncology with emerging technologies and advances in cancer biology.
