About the Journal
The Journal of Physics and Physical Sciences is intended as a peer-reviewed scholarly platform for the dissemination of original research and scientific developments across physics and related physical sciences. The journal aims to provide an interdisciplinary forum for researchers, academics, and professionals to communicate theoretical, experimental, computational, and applied advances in the physical sciences. It seeks to contribute to the understanding of fundamental physical phenomena while also promoting research with applications in science, engineering, technology, and related disciplines.
Scope
The journal may cover research in the following areas:
- Theoretical and mathematical physics — mathematical modelling, theoretical frameworks, computational approaches, and fundamental physical theories.
- Classical and modern physics — mechanics, thermodynamics, statistical physics, relativity, and quantum physics.
- Condensed-matter and materials physics — solid-state physics, nanomaterials, semiconductors, superconductivity, magnetism, and electronic materials.
- Atomic, molecular, and optical physics — spectroscopy, lasers, quantum optics, atomic and molecular interactions, and photonics.
- Nuclear and particle physics — nuclear structure, nuclear reactions, particle interactions, and high-energy physics.
- Plasma physics — plasma dynamics, fusion-related research, space plasmas, and plasma applications.
- Astrophysics and space physics — stellar physics, cosmology, gravitational phenomena, planetary science, and space environments.
- Applied physics — applications of physical principles in electronics, energy, instrumentation, medical physics, and engineering.
- Computational physics — numerical modelling, simulation, scientific computing, and data-driven physical research.
- Geophysics and environmental physics — atmospheric physics, earth-system processes, climate-related physical phenomena, and environmental measurements.
- Interdisciplinary physical sciences — research combining physics with chemistry, materials science, mathematics, engineering, biology, or other scientific disciplines.
