Abstract

Child sexual abuse is a serious social, moral, psychological and human rights issue that can have lasting effects on a child’s physical and emotional well being. This research examines the major causes and contributing factors of child sexual abuse and explores effective ways to prevent it in the light of the Seerah of the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.).The study focuses on factors such as lack of parental supervision, weak family relationships, inadequate moral education, social negligence, misuse of authority and insufficient awareness regarding child protection. It also highlights the importance of providing children with a safe, respectful, and caring environment. The Seerah of the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) provides valuable principles of compassion, dignity, protection, responsible parenting, moral training, and respect for the rights of children. The research analyzes how these Prophetic principles can contribute to preventing abuse and strengthening the protection of children in contemporary society. It concludes that the teachings of the Seerah offer practical ethical and social guidance for safeguarding children and promoting a secure and morally responsible society.
