Abstract

Environmental pollution and the increasing demand for energy are among the major challenges affecting sustainable development and human well-being. Air, water, soil, and noise pollution are largely caused by industrial activities, urbanization, transportation, improper waste disposal, and the excessive use of fossil fuels. Effective pollution control requires proper waste management, environmental regulations, public awareness, sustainable urban planning, and the adoption of cleaner technologies. Renewable energy sources, including solar, wind, hydropower, and biomass, provide environmentally friendly alternatives to fossil fuels and can significantly reduce greenhouse-gas emissions and other pollutants. The integration of renewable energy with effective environmental protection strategies can contribute to cleaner ecosystems, improved public health, energy security, and sustainable economic development. Therefore, cooperation among governments, industries, communities, and individuals is essential for controlling pollution and promoting a sustainable and environmentally responsible future.
