Abstract

Beyond Reality: A Mock Interview Collection on Surrealism explores the ideas, artistic principles, and intellectual foundations of the Surrealist movement through a creative collection of imagined interviews. Surrealism emerged in the early twentieth century as a revolutionary artistic and literary movement that challenged conventional ideas of reason, reality, and artistic expression. Drawing upon concepts such as dreams, the unconscious mind, imagination, automatism, chance, and the juxtaposition of unrelated images, Surrealist artists sought to reveal dimensions of human experience beyond ordinary rational thought.
