Journal of Geographic Perspectives and Regional Studies

Journal of Geographic Perspectives and Regional Studies (JGPRS) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access research journal dedicated to advancing scholarly inquiry in geography, spatial analysis, and regional development. The journal serves as a premier academic platform for geographers, environmental scientists, urban planners, regional economists, and social scientists to share innovative research addressing contemporary spatial and environmental challenges across local, national, and global scales.

Scope & Academic Focus

JGPRS aims to bridge theoretical concepts and empirical research in geographical and regional sciences. We welcome rigorous original research papers, comprehensive review articles, case studies, and methodological notes focusing on physical and environmental dynamics, human and economic geography, spatial analysis and geoinformatics (GIS/Remote Sensing), as well as cultural and political geography.

Peer Review & Open Access Policy

All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process by independent expert reviewers to ensure the highest standards of academic integrity and originality. Operating under an open-access framework, JGPRS provides immediate, unrestricted global access to its published content to foster broader academic collaboration and drive sustainable regional solutions.
