This article examines the role of the Qur’an in the preservation and greatness of the Arabic language. The Qur’an, revealed in Arabic, has played a fundamental role in preserving its vocabulary, grammar, eloquence, and literary style. Its recitation, memorization, and worldwide teaching have contributed significantly to the continuity and global spread of Arabic. Moreover, the need to understand the Qur’anic text led to the development of various linguistic sciences, including grammar, morphology, lexicography, and rhetoric. The study concludes that the Qur’an is a major source of the preservation, development, and enduring significance of the Arabic language.
