Abstract

The literature that is written to present or expose the outdated thinking of an era or against the oppression of a government or any other kind of oppression is called resistance literature. Journalism is also related to literature in which journalism bring the truth to the fore to stop oppression and oppression. Resistance in Urdu journalism began systematically after the war of  independence  of 1957.The Urdu magazines   and news reports that time created consciousness and awareness  among the people of subcontinent .this research paper will examine the resistance elements in Urdu journalism before and after the independence movement . by using documentary research method ,the reason for the resistance elements in Pakistani journalism will be expored and final conclusions will be drawn.
