Agha Gul’s novel Dasht-e-Wafa portrays the socio-political realities of Balochistan through the lens of subaltern studies. This research highlights the representation of marginalized voices, identity crises, and resistance against oppressive power structures within the novel. The characters reflect communities shaped by state dominance and tribal hierarchies. From a subaltern perspective, the text questions whether the marginalized can truly express their own voice. Ultimately, Dasht-e-Wafa emerges as a powerful narrative of resistance and a critique of hegemonic authority.
